As many of you are aware we are facing some challenges at the moment and we feel it's an important time to stand together in prayer for some situations within TCF. Our next Standing Together is on Monday 10th June 2013 from 7.00 - 8.00pm @ TCF Corringham, with time for thanksgiving and prayer for the sick. Do join us and contact one of the Leadership Team if you would like us to pray for you.

Mentoring Matters | In TCF we recognise the importance of discipleship, and use the practical process of "Mentoring Matters" to help people to come into the full maturity and understanding of what the purpose of God is in our lives. Not too late to join current training.

Messy Church. Sunday 9th June 2013 at Corringham Centre, Giffords Cross Road. Great fun for people of all ages and for the whole family. Join us from 9.30am for breakfast followed by some great activities including craft, songs & stories finishing at 11.00am. Also feel free to invite and bring along friends! Who Are We?
Thurrock Christian Fellowship is a vibrant, growing, local church in Thurrock, South Essex. We meet each week in Mission Shaped Communities, & express our mission and ministry through this network of communities in the towns of Corringham, Stanford-le-Hope, Grays & Tilbury. These communities provide the opportunity to 'Build Community, Deepen Discipleship & Grow through Mission'. We then gather as a whole church for celebration every First Sunday of the month at the TCF All Saints Centre, John Street, Grays @ 10.00am.
Ultimately our aim is to create a community of people who are passionate to 'Love God and Serve the World!
Communities
We believe that God has called Thurrock Christian Fellowship (TCF) to transform Thurrock and beyond with the message of Jesus, and so we are seeking to allow all that we do to be shaped by the mission of God to this place. This is an exciting journey and has meant that since 2010, we have been pioneering Mission Shaped Communities (MSC's) as the primary means of belonging to TCF, and of reaching out to our community.
These ‘Communities of Disciples in Mission’ are close-knit spiritual families, living an exciting daily life of discipleship together, whilst intentionally finding ways to share Jesus with the people around them.

Mentoring Matters
One of the key things that Jesus commanded us to do was to "Go and make disciples of all nations ... baptising them ....and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."
In TCF we recognise the importance of discipleship, and use the practical process of "Mentoring Matters" to help people to come into the full maturity and understanding of what the purpose of God is in our lives.
Mentoring is available for everyone young or old. You can become a mentor or a mentee - or both ! Training is available. For more details - click on the above.
