Welcome to the website of Thurrock Christian Fellowship!
Thurrock Christian Fellowship is a vibrant, growing, local church in Thurrock, south Essex. We meet each week in Mission Shaped Communities, & express our mission and ministry through this network of communities in the towns of Corringham, Stanford-le-Hope, Grays & Tilbury. These communities provide the opportunity to 'Build Community, Deepen Discipleship & Grow through Mission'. We then gather as a whole church for celebration every First Sunday of the month at theTCF All Saints Centre, John Street, Grays @ 10.00am. Ultimately our aim is to create a community of people who are passionate to 'Love God and Serve the World!'
We trust you enjoy the site, and if there is anything further we can do to help you, please contact us, join us at our next First Sunday celebration, or visit a Mission Shaped Community this week.
You'd be very welcome!
THE BIG PICTURE 2012... The new Big Picture reading plan and study guide is available online to read or download, or from your MSC leaders. This year there is an audio link for those who want to listen to the daily Bible readings, and the reading plan will also be available each week on email & Facebook. See here for more details or to download a copy.
MISSION SHAPED COMMUNITIES... Each week TCF meets in a network of missional communities in Corringham, Stanford-le-Hope, Grays & Tilbury. These communities meet for the purpose of 'Building Community; Deepening Discipleship & Growing Through Mission' and are exciting places to belong. They meet in homes, community centres, pubs & church buildings at varying times through the week, with many of them meeting regularly on a Sunday. Do join us!
OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT! Our Treasure Children Forever Pre School at Corringham was recently inspected by Ofsted and achieved an 'Outstanding' report. After many years of dedication and hard work by our Manager, Allison Jones, and her excellent team, their efforts have been rewarded with the highest achievement they can gain. So a very well done to Allison & the team, and thank you for doing such a great job! Official celebrations will follow in the new year but for now you can read more or download a copy of the Ofsted Report here...
THURROCK FOODBANK... The Thurrock Foodbank is a fantastic project bringing the community together to provide emergency food to families in crisis! The project is making great progress and will begin to function in the new year. In the meantime you can keep up with news at the Thurrock Foodbank website or email if you wish to receive regular news and updates.
