Introduction
|
Treasure Children Forever Pre-School/Nursery is run by Thurrock Christian Fellowship. This organisation believes that our ethos emerges from a desire and motivation to express Christ’s love to those whom we serve outside the organisation, and to reflect this love internally in our relationship with one another. The management team are committed Christians, and all staff are expected to act with sensitivity to maintain to our Christian ethos.
Thurrock Christian Fellowship has been involved in childcare for over 30 years. This dedication and commitment has led to the opening of our Nursery in Grays.
Thurrock Christian Fellowship’s purpose statement is:
‘A community of people who love God, who care for one another and who want to share the love of Jesus with the people of Thurrock and the wider world!’
Treasure Children Forever wants to ensure all children and families feel included safe and valued. Through our policies procedures we promote positive attitudes towards diversity and difference with all children. Staff will actively challenge any expression of prejudice or discrimination, by children or adults. Children learn from the earliest age to value diversity in others and grow up making a positive contribution to society. Staff focus on each child’s individual learning, development and care.
The latest Ofsted inspection at Corringham stated: 'Children are making good progress towards the Early Learning Goals in all areas through a well-planned and well-implemented programme. Effective teaching underpins learning and meets the varying needs and ages of the children. Children are confident, enthusiastic and well behaved. The positive partenership with the parents contributes to the children's achievements.'
