Recognising that we live in a post-Christendom society, and how we should therefore live as "Exiles" in the same way as Joseph, Daniel, Esther etc did, the book shows how we can live as successfully as they did as believers in that environment. The book is mainly based on four "D's" :-

> Dangerous Memories - understanding our history, where we have come from and living in the strength of that as   authentic Christians

> Dangerous Promises - serving a greater cause than ourselves

> Dangerous Criticism - willing to speak out the truth, even in the face of great opposition

> Dangerous Songs - the true message that we declare through praise and worship
