This summer, a team of 19 people from TCF visited The Wellspring Centre, Bweyogerere, Kampala, from July 30th until August 21st
Day 1 (Sun 30th Aug) Leaving Thurrock & travelling to Dubai - the day started well and we arrived at the airport nice and early and all very excited! The check in and boarding went smoothly and everyone was fine. The take off was fairly scary for everybody, as they always are, but once in the air the tension disappeared.
The movies on the plane were good and we even had games to play, so overall the plane journey was great. The food was also surprisingly nice (well it agreed with my stomach okay).
The views from the plane were amazing, the sunset was beauiful and the lights from the ground at night looked fantastic. Dubai also looked great the next morning even though everyone was half asleep - so a great trip so far!
